County SAFE KIDS Coalition

This grassroots coalition is dedicated to preventing unintentional
injuries in children from birth to age 14. Community members and
interested organizations are invited to become involved.
Safety
Village

Safety Village is a two-week summer daycamp program which teaches
safety skills to children ages 5, 6, and 7. It is located on the
grounds of Iowa City's Grant Wood Elementary School.

Way of Johnson County

United Way is comprised of 37 local human service agencies that
answer a variety of needs. Mercy supports United Way and these agencies
year-round in many ways, including its annual fundraising campaign.

Medical Clinic

The Free Medical Clinic, 2440 Towncrest, Iowa City, offers
services to those who do not have access to healthcare services
by other means. Mercy Night at the clinic is the second Wednesday
of each month and is staffed by Mercy employees and physicians on
a volunteer basis.

of babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality. Mercy
