Iowa City and the Couple to Couple League offers a three-session
Natural Family Planning class.
Natural Family Planning is a safe, simple, and natural way of avoiding
or achieving pregnancy. It is based on observing the signs and symptoms
of ovulation which occur during a woman's menstrual cycle.
The class fee is $50; no one is turned away because of inability
to pay. The fee includes a copy of The Art of Natural Family Planning,
a year's supply of temperature charts, a basal thermometer, a year's
subscription to the Couple to Couple League magazine, and counseling
on using the method.
Class instructors are Gary and Geraldine Ward.
