REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR MERCY SAFE SITTER PROGRAM

City, IA: Safe Sitter, the popular two-day babysitting course sponsored
by the Mercy Hospital Guild, has announced that it will hold five
sessions this summer: June 10 and 11, June 23 and 24, July 1 and
2, July 31 and August 1, and August 4 and 5.
Safe Sitter is open to youth ages 11-13. The course covers a number of valuable topics, including children’s developmental stages, age-appropriate activities for children, handling emergency situations, personal safety for the sitter, the business of babysitting, and more. The class fee is $45.
Safe Sitter meets from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on two consecutive days, with a graduation ceremony planned for the end of the second day.
