Mercy Achievements

Mercy President and CEO Ronald R. Reed was recently selected by Corridor Business Journal as one of the 25 most influential business leaders in the area.

Tim Ahlers, director of marketing and community relations, was named a "Forty Under 40" winner by the Corridor Business Journal. This recognition is extended to people under 40 who have demonstrated professional and community involvement.

Peter Wallace, MD, MS, vice president of medical staff affairs, and his wife, Kathryn, were recognized as "Friends of the Foundation" by the Iowa City Community School District Foundation. The Wallaces have shown their support of the Foundation and of area schoolchildren in a number of signifant ways.

Catherine H. Abrams, Vice President of Nursing at Mercy Iowa City, has been named the 2007 IONL Outstanding Nurse Executive by the Iowa Organization of Nurse Leaders. | more info
